Finding Who's On Your Ballot

You can access the Who's On Your Ballot page to find Candidates specific to your ballot.

 

To find who's on your ballot:

 

  1. If the Who's On Your Ballot page is not already displayed, click the who's on your ballot link near the bottom of the web page.

The Who's On Your Ballot page is displayed.

 

  1. Perform one of the following:

 

Tip: You can jump to a specific place within a drop-down list box using keyboard keys. First, click the arrow on the right side of the drop-down list box to display its values. Press the home key to display the first value in the list. Press the end key to display the last value in the list. Press a letter key (A-Z) to display the first value in the list that begins with that letter. For example, pressing the m key displays the first value in the drop-down list box that begins with the letter M.

Search by voter registration...

  1. Select your county of residence from the county drop-down list box.

 

  1. Type your last name in the last name field (e.g., smith, Smith, SMITH).

 

  1. Type your first name in the first name field (e.g., john, John, JOHN).

 

  1. Type your date of birth in the date of birth field (e.g., MM/DD/CCYY).

 

Tip: To select a date from the calendar, click the calendar icon Calendar icon graphic and select the desired date.

 

  1. Click the find button.

 

Tip: To clear the search criteria to perform a new search, click the clear button.

More than one match is found...

Search by driver's license number...

Click the driver's license number radio button and type your 9-digit BMV-issued DLN in the driver's license number field.

Search by SSN...

Click the last 4 digits of social security number radio button and type the last 4 digits of your SSN in the last 4 digits of social security number field.

Search by state ID...

Click the state identification number radio button and type your 9-digit BMV-issued state ID number in the state identification number field.

 

  1. Click the find button.

A match is found...

The Who's On Your Ballot View page is displayed.

A match is not found...

The system displays a message instructing you to contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance. You can:

 

  • Contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance.

or

  • Modify your search criteria and repeat the search.

 

No matches are found...

The system displays a message instructing you to contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance. You can:

 

  • Contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance.

or

  • Modify your search criteria and repeat the search.

 

Search by precinct...

  1. Click the click here to search by precinct link.

 

Fields to search by precinct are displayed.

 

  1. Select the county for which to search from the county drop-down list box.

 

  1. Select the precinct for which to search from the precinct drop-down list box.

 

  1. Click the find button.

 

Tip: To clear the search criteria to perform a new search, click the clear button.

No matches are found...

The system displays a message instructing you to contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance. You can:

 

  • Contact your Voter Registration Office for assistance.

or

  • Modify your search criteria and repeat the search.

In the table below are definitions for the fields and buttons on the Who's On Your Ballot page.

Search by Voter Registration Section

Clear Button

Removes the data from all the search criteria fields to allow you to conduct a new search.

County

The county in which you reside. Valid values are provided in a drop-down list box.

Date of Birth

Your date of birth. The field format is MM/DD/CCYY.

Driver's License Number

Your 9-digit BMV-issued driver's license number. This field is visible only if more than one record matched your search criteria.

Driver's License Number Radio Button

Indicates you want to search by your 9-digit BMV-issued driver's license number. This button is visible only if more than one record matched your search criteria.

First Name

Your first name. This field is not case-sensitive. You can type all lowercase, mixed case, or uppercase (e.g., john, John, JOHN).

Find Button

Initiates a search for Candidates who are on your ballot based on the specified search criteria.

Last 4 Digits of Social Security Number

The last four digits of your social security number. This field is visible only if more than one record matched your search criteria.

Last Name

Your last name. This field is not case-sensitive. You can type all lowercase, mixed case, or uppercase (e.g., smith, Smith, SMITH).

State Identification Number

Your 9-digit BMV-issued state ID number. The BMV issues you a state ID if you don't have a BMV-issued driver's license and you request a photo identification card. This field is visible only if more than one record matched your search criteria.

State Identification Number Radio Button

Indicates you want to search by your BMV-issued state ID number. This button is visible only if more than one record matched your search criteria.

Search by Precinct Section

Clear Button

Removes the data from all the search criteria fields to allow you to conduct a new search.

County

Find Button

Initiates a search for Candidates who are on a ballot based on the specified search criteria.

Precinct
